The Tyre Rasper is composed of a motor, reducer, rotating cutter roller, chamber, frame, screen, and hydraulic auxiliary system. It is designed to shred pre-processed waste tire rubber blocks (50-80 mm) into fine rubber granules of 9-16 mm, while efficiently separating steel wires and part of the fibers during the shredding process. With a compact structure, low energy consumption, and stable performance, it serves as a key piece of equipment in fine rubber recycling systems at any modern Tire Recycling Plant.
The machine adopts an intermeshing serrated blade design, where the rotating blades work in combination with stationary blades inside the housing to apply strong shearing and tearing forces to the rubber blocks. This dual-action process ensures rapid size reduction and effective separation of embedded steel wires and fibers. The screen is mounted at the bottom of the chamber—materials smaller than the screen holes are discharged, while oversized pieces remain for further shredding until they meet the required particle size and are then automatically released.
