For smaller and simpler projects, the process is generally more streamlined. For example, in one of our projects in Shanghai, China (without organic waste), large waste items are first manually separated. Then, a drum screen separates out inert materials like stones, while a magnetic separator extracts metals. The remaining materials are shredded, compacted, and processed into SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel).
